Why are we forced to import stuff?
I would love NOT to be *forced* to import stuff from twitter or flickr, but simply get the link "accounts: flickr/twitter" on my profile...

Inappropriate? As far as I know, there's only the option that you put links in the "about" field on your soup (like here).
It's [a href="LINK URL"]LINK TEXT[/a]
(replace all "[ ]" with "< >")
I’m hoping this works for you.

Inappropriate?I agree with you that this should work, one should be able to list an account without importing it.
Unfortunately the UI for this is a little bit tricky, but I definitely want this to be in a future version of Soup. Can't give any estimate though (it's one of these "nice to have" features).

Inappropriate? In my opinion, it wouldn't be just "nice to have". Don't get me wrong, I don't want to sound unpolite (and it's really not meant to be rude) - but this is a today's standard. ;)
In almost every communities in web2.0 times you can integrate a "blogroll" or even links to your own "playgrounds" such as "real" blogs, homepages, twitter accs and so on. Even if you're not skilled in HTML.
Would be great, if a feature like this would be integrated in soup.io ...
Cheers,
S.
