Will comments be in a future release of Soup?
I know it's a micro-blog, but it's so awesome that visitors want to comment every now and then, without having to register on the website ;-)

Inappropriate?Yes. Unfortunately I can't give you a date estimate, it keeps getting pushed back due to other things. I would guess it'll be another month or two...
-
Inappropriate? If this feature is implement I think soup will be probably the best micro blog system, so we are excited...!

Strongly agreed! For others who do not want it, can always turn off commenting. -
Inappropriate?Oh, I can't wait to have the comments feature on my soup, as long as an archives page. I miss these functionality so much...
Can we have an idea about when it'll be available?
Thanks and keep up the great work, guys.
I’m a bit sad

Inappropriate?Actually I kinda like that there is no comment options in soup...! While I have two other blogs running with commenting and all I like the idea of just posting stuff on soup occasionally that doesn't fit anywhere else...and that I don't have to turn it into a discussion...
Like "Here it is, deal with it!"... ;)
I’m okay without comments

yeah.... surely it makes sense! -

You can always turn comments off, limiting other users on what they want is not a good idea. -
Inappropriate?I still mantain that idea, some visitors want to comment on things they see online, and that's a missing feature in Soup.
I hope you guys are making efforts to make it happen soon! ;-)
All the best!
p.s.: I love Soup!

Inappropriate?Really looking forward to commenting feature!

Inappropriate?I think a user should be available to opt if he wants comments to his posts.
I don't think the react-type comment makes any sense if it is posted on my own page.. I want to keep it clean and specific... it feels out of place.
I think you should be able to choose if people can repost your posts or not... I work on photography and I was happy that you couldn't copy images from the blogs and the way the photo is blown up when you click it. Definitely a good thing. But I do not agree with reacts or reposts.
Right now this is what makes me feel undecided between blogger, tumblr and soup.
Hope you can help.
Thanks
Ana

Inappropriate?agree with tesuda

Inappropriate? So, no signs of Soup ever offering a comment system?
It's been a long time and yet, it has not been implemented. I really think comments are the way to go. Reacts are okay, but sometimes they feel, as tesuda wrote, out of place.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?i agree. i finally had time to set up an account on soup.io, but without the comments i won't be able to use it. although the rest of soup looks excellent!
-
Inappropriate?Any updates on comments? Its been a long time and there is no communication from soup.io
I’m confused
