Create a backend service in Windows to perform the backup/sync/merge etc operations so that the program can work without having to login.

Thank you for your posting this request. We are indeed working on implementing this feature and it should be available in either SpiderOak 3.1 (due out in roughly 2 weeks) or SpiderOak 3.2 (due out in roughly 5 weeks).
