How long does it take for information to be removed?
I really really DON'T want my information on Spock and have gone through the necessary steps to have it removed but it's still there. How long does it take for it to be removed?

Inappropriate? If you've gone through the necessary steps and flagged your search result for deletion it may take anywhere from an hour to a week. Your best bet is to vote down which information you would not like to appear and then flag your search result.

I want my information deleted as well and your directions on how to "flag" info is veyr confusing becuase there is no flag button so delet the acoount for laura perich right now....i don't even have an account with you and i am sure that no one really uses this dumb page anyway and I don't want anyone to be able to look me up. -
Hi Laura,
We're reworking the copy more clear on how to remove yourself , but the first step you must take is "claiming" your search result. This must be done for a variety of reasons, which include making sure that you take the necessary steps to ensure that you aren't reindexed and to ensure you are who you claim to be (it also expediates the process). After claiming please make sure the source is removed (to ensure that you're not reindexed) and then you can flag it. If you have any other questions e-mail info@corp.spock.com or check out some of the other questions on getsatisfaction. Remember, Spock is a search engine similar to Google and Yahoo in that we index publicly available data on the Web. With the ability to edit and contribute content about yourself, Spock can help guide people to your correct Web identity.
