I just heard about Spock.com and typed in my stage name by which I have been known since the early 1980s (internet presence since 1997). Some dude named Charlie came up who is a guitarist who likes bicycles, but not me. I tried to sign up to add myself, but have not been able to join as "The Bicycling Guitarist." Search ANY search engine and I am there and have been for a LONG time. My web site has close to 200 pages.

Inappropriate?If you are commonly known by a nickname or stage name, you can email Chris (chris@corp.spock.com) and he can put that in for you on his end. Once you are indexed (should be several days), users can find you by that nickname or stage name and find you through the search. For example, Chris Watson (a.k.a. The Bicycling Guitarist) can be found by either name.
There is a user on Spock named "The Scary Guy." He legally changed his name. Check it out.
