Unable to remove Live Search results
Live search. The problem is, that I have a pretty common name (apparently) and the search results are almost always incorrect. This wouldn't be so frustrating if I were able to remove them, however I am not. I have flagged the search results several times and they have been reset each time. I then vote them down again but they are not being deleted/removed from my profile.
Personally I would like to have the ability to turn off the additional live search function for my profile.

Inappropriate? There was a bug with the system last week... and there still is. I was told that the engineers are working on this. Let's cross our fingers and hope everything is fixed by next week!

Inappropriate?Well, looks like they have done something. Initially I thought they had removed the search results altogether when I checked back yesterday and they had disappeared from the page. However, It appears that it might only show up on the profile if a result has actually been found, now. I can live with that as long as one can remove those results, which at this point also seems to be working properly.
I guess we'll have to wait and see if those results can still be removed by the owner if someone else happens to vote them up. I'll keep my fingers crossed...

I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?Sigh. I'm going to bed - if you decide to fix things before I wake up... that would be swell...
I’m grumpy, frustrated, pesimistic

Inappropriate? This should be fixed now because I'm able to remove those links. If you still see ones in red that you thought you removed, try removing your vote and then voting "no" again.

Well, I just logged in and tried again. In the websites section, I removed my vote on 'model mahem' and said no again. It's still there. I can't honestly tell if it is because others have voted it up or not - but I would think that an owner should have absolute say and that if we vote something down on our profile, then no other votes should count. Anyway, thanks Phil. -
This still isn't working.
