Make sure it is in .jpg or .jpeg format. If you are uploading it by link, make sure the source is accessible.

Also, try to upload pictures of yourself since this is a people search application, not one about animals or companies. People will know where you work by looking at your tags....

We also have a size limit to pictures - if the page hangs while you're trying to upload a picture, try uploading the same picture but in a smaller size or lower resolution.
