some times i want to create a playlist of all songs of an artist, this works fine in the search bar, but resent searches does only display my 5 last searches.
What about creating persistent-search entries or auto-update playlists based on a spotify-uri?
For instance save a playlist with the search term 'label:"bmg" year:2009' or a direct reference to a artist or album?
This is a feature i rely miss in spotify, keep up the great work! :)
I used to listen to a group called Cassius (the rocord is called 1999), now they have disappaered in Spotify. Why? I only get network error when trying to listen to my playlist. All other tracks work.
i got an e-mail from it saying it won 3 cds and to provide address details for this and wait 28 days. 28 days later and nothing had turned up and the e-mail address that was given on the servey are not answering me what is going on?
Spotify won't start?? i was first told it could be a firewall problem. i since reinstalled Spotify and now tells me could be a mispelled password??? Please help i miss Spotify :(
In an ideal world, Spotify would link into my iTunes library, filling in the holes where I didn't already own a track. For example, you have 2 out of 6 albums Boards of Canada have done. You'd like to hear the other 4 albums. Spotify then lets you add them into iTunes, as streaming tracks. Perfecto!
I love spotify, but it'd be nice to be able to have it on the go. It'd be great if Spotify could be ran from a USB drive -- the cache could be kept in a folder in the exe's directory on the drive and the settings saved into a file with it too. I'm not sure what other external files spotify uses, but they'd need to be put alongside it too.
Today the technology goes really fast. All the new mobile phones are getting real internet so they can get internet for free so just think if you could get Spotify on it. Unlimited music on your mobile phone (or ipod touch). If Spotify came out for mobile phones I would get a iPod touch in one sec. You will never need to put any music on it, you will have everything streamed for you.
Everyone would get it. It would knockout all illegal music downloading if you could get it for free where ever you want it (maybe not all but really really much). Everyone would win on it so start making one =D
I would love to see a feature where you can disable changing track or song and doubleclicking a track only adds it to the current play queue (last in the queue).
This is a perfect feature where you expose your computer at, for instance, a party where everyone can interact with the tracklist.
Putting some sort of simple password-protection to unlock the track-editing capabilites only for the "owner" of the computer.
I want Spotify to work as a regular music player as well, so that I can merge together the Spotify library with my own library. That'd make Spotify, by far, the best piece of software ever!
It'd be great if there was a "like" function that added every song you liked to a personal library/database so you don't lose music that you listen to once, like, but forget, or have to search repeatedly to find... Please!
Does Spotify think it's hard to hear their ads? It's NOT!
There are ads about every 15 minutes, and only 3 of them, so I know them by heart now. The music one is good, but as I'm a heavy traveler and casual user of Spotify, 100kr for about 1-2 weeks is way too much, so I'll probably never buy Spotify Premium. And I know very well how to share links with people. Unnecessary to tell me about it several times per hour.
Oh, and pausing the commercial when I lower volume to an ok level is simply a brilliant feature!
So while the service is good, and I know I'm suggestible to ads in general, Spotify manages to maximize annoyance.
