5 Suggestions for Spotify iPhone App
Some suggestions for the iphone app:
1) Internet browser built in - Massive win - see Internet Radio Box
2) Some concept of What's New or Featured Tracks
3) Group or filter playlists - I have some 500+ track playlists (maybe my bad), but would be great if I could sort and filter it on artist, album, added date, release date, genre.
4) Add track/album to a new playlist via iphone
5) change bit rate via phone separately from bit rate via desktop app
Other than that I think it's a brilliant app and worth every penny.

Inappropriate?I suppose that the developers didn't want to make the first version perfect in case that Apple would have rejected it. But now that the iPhone version is approved, all premium users would expect similar functionality as in the desktop version. Hope this will happen soon.
Would be nice if someone at Spotify would comment this and give us an indication of when new features will be available in the iPhone client.

Inappropriate?Yeah, I agree with Hans. Hopefully there will be an update to at least address some of the bugs I not the queeing and Home page tab.
I’m Hopeful

Inappropriate?Adding new playlists and tracks/albums to the new playlist is already available on the iPhone app.
(In the "Playlists" view, click "Edit" and then the "+" to create a new playlist)
I’m confident

Inappropriate?@KMK, yes but it's not user-friendly. It's much easier to create directly from an album as in the desktop version, with a correct name of the playlist etc.

Inappropriate?Thanks for the ideas.
Regarding your last point - what sort of bit rate are you looking for on the mobile app?

I don't know enough about Ogg to suggest a rate, but think it would be great to be able to have an option to switch between (say 320 and 128) within the iphone app specifically for those times when you're running on 3G vs Wifi. Even better the option to say "if I'm streaming over 3G, automatically use the lower rate". -
Ofline playlists should be highest bit rate available. -
Agree completely! -
I'm totaly agree. An option to have the highest quality n the mobile app would be awsome !! -
