Add last.fm scrobbling to the android client
The Spotify android client is great. One thing that would make it even better is support for scrobbling to my last.fm account. Either by building it into the client, as the Windows Spotify client does, or by working together with other applications like scrobbledroid.

Inappropriate?Hello. I'm the developer of Scrobble Droid. The (very simple) API is here:

Inappropriate?Hi, and I'm the developer for Simple Last.fm Scrobbler. It has a similar API: http://code.google.com/p/a-simple-lastfm-scrobbler/wiki/Developers
I’m excited

Inappropriate? You do that and I go premium!
BTW, greets to you Adam, your app is great! -
To clarify this comment, Adam's app is indeed great but does not support Spotify. -
Inappropriate?I believe the last.fm app simply subscribes to an intent that is broadcast when the media player starts playing a track, perhaps the spotify client could do the same.
This intent I think:
Intent { act=com.android.music.PLAYBACK_VIEWER flg=0x4000000 cmp=com.android.music/.MediaPlaybackActivity } -
Inappropriate?Yes, please implement this, either using a library or on your own. Please do have an option to only scrobble after x tracks or over wifi etc to minimize battery drain.
