well last time I disassembled spotify there was some growl involved...
so maybe in a next version...

Inappropriate?dumb me! My growl was off, so I haven't seen it already worked without album art... I thought it wasn't working yet.
If the spotify team accept to put album art in the notification, it'll be an "easy add' as they already did the dirty work.
