Can I link to spotify tracks with pretty urls? or lookup obsfucated links to see what they are?
Can I query the catalog of your songs, to create "pretty" URLs when linking to tracks in Spotify?

Spotify URIs have to have the unique code in the for the song/album/artists in order for the program to recognize what you're looking for. -
Inappropriate?I'd like to make a url shortening service that turns your "HTTP Spotify Links" into readable links. So from :
http://open.spotify.com/track/3XkqrE0...
to
mydomain.com/Bach/Tpccata_in_d_minor
when the user clicks the latter link, they're taken to the song in spotify.
I poked about your blog and saw this functionality might be coming in the future - so I assume it isnt possible as yet :)1 Comment

Ok, thanks for clarifying I understand now. We don't have anything like that at the moment and it may be a little difficult just because there are probably hundreds of recordings of Bach in D minor and you need to differentiate them with some sort of unique identifier but I'll pass it on and see if something can be done. It would make sharing songs a little more interesting. -
Inappropriate?just to further clarify, I mean parsing spotifys "hashed" urls into what they are, rather than converting a "clean" url into a hash.
I was thinking a system of:
user enters their http spotify url
we parse it, turn it into a short clean url

Inappropriate?My take at this: http://cleanify.hihaj.com - extremely simple/lightweight implementation (still contains the original hash). But it's readable.
