Can't connect to spotify. Dammit!

Hi. I keep trying to connect to spotify but keep getting this message: A firewall may be blocking your internet connection (error 101). Additionally you could try changing the proxy settings. I have tried disconnecting my firewall and I've also allowed spotify to avoid the firewall but still no luck. What can I do to overcome this problem?
