Connection lost. Reconnecting...
i instal spotify, run, i have only "Connection lost. Reconnecting..." nothing more... i reinstal and again "Connection lost. Reconnecting..." (in firewall is allow...) pls help me!!!

Inappropriate?I downloaded Spotify earlier in the year, and have never connected. I have tried several times, but always get this message. I have re-installed, checked status, and it is not firewall blocked.
Please tell me what to do? -
Make sure you are in one of the countries where Spotify is available. If you are, (and I know you already said Spotify isn't firewall blocked, but it's good to be certain) make sure your firewall isn't blocking Spotify (either disable the firewall or add Spotify to the exemptions list). If you use Spotify at work, make sure that they don't block Spotify. Also, at work, they may route traffic through other countries which will make Spotify wrongly believe you are in a country where it isn't available.

Inappropriate?The last time i have the same problem, "Connection lost. Reconnecting..."
and sometimes (often) the song stop playing, and after 3-15 sec. it's starts playing again.... Arg... :(

No. These problems are consistently disrupting many people's enjoyment of Spotify. It's a great idea, but the service will die if it continues to provide such a shoddy service to it's users.
I don't know if it's a ploy to get people to upgrade to Premium or what, but either way it's disgraceful. Every time it crashes, the service status is 'jolly good' or something equally useless. I've posted a topic on this a while back, and have had no reply from it.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem. I installed spotify yesterday and first thing it said was lost connection,reconnecting... Now it plays music BUT it stops every 5 seconds.this is not nice at all! What should I do? Everything else is working just fine and my firewall isn't blocking spotify

Sounds like your having some bandwidth issues, try closing everything but spotify and see if it helps with the playing. The lost connection could be down to Spotify servers being overloaded, but more likely to do with a problem on your end, it might be also helpful if you know what connection speed you have and where your located. -

Inappropriate?I've had the same problem for about 1 month now. Everything my end must be okay cus it has connected a couple of times in the last 2 wks but today it is back to LOST CONNECTION status. I am using free version and am only glad that i am not paying for it cus at the moment it seems like a total waste of time which is a great shame. Any ideas anyone ?

Inappropriate?I am using the paid version of Spotify as only option here in Ireland and for the last week or so can barely play anything as the connection lost/reconnecting issue keeps popping up, yet all other Internet services I have are OK. very annoying and will likely cancel my subscription unless this gets sorted fast.

Inappropriate?I've been using Spotify for over a year, and love it - but all of a sudden, I keep getting connection problems. I haven't changed anything on my PC, and I know it's not my internet connection that's at fault because everything else works fine. And I have friends using Spotify at the same time as me without any problems, so it can't be Spotify's service status. I uninstalled & reinstalled Spotify and it seemed to work for half an hour.... and then back to "Connection Lost. Reconnecting...." every few seconds, or sometimes even "There is a problem with the connection to Spotify. Please try again shortly (error 101)." Oh, and I've checked my firewall and it's set to allow Spotify, so it isn't that. Someone please help, I can't imagine life without Spotify!!

Inappropriate?Same as you, Emma. No changes on my computer, been working for over a year, but now it won't connect. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, just got time to dowload my favourite playlist before the connection got lost again.
On my laptop it works perfectly (on the same network), all the time...
