Control of Spotify software via TCP/IP?
Is is possible to control Spotify software via TCP/IP? Will there be an API on the way which makes this possible?
I work with AMX and Crestron control systems and would love to have spotify running on a PC in a rack and be able to conduct searches with results returned over TCP/IP, view - add to - and edit the queue, and control the transports via TCP/IP.
Cheers,
C.

Inappropriate? There's libspotify that would allow you to build a service like that.

I don't know what AMX and Creston is but if you would be interested in paying for development of some kind of TCP/IP based gateway for libspotify, feel free to contact me (there's a link on my profile here). I'm VAT registered. -
Inappropriate?Hi
I run a company which has just developed an interface for this. Check out http://www.CustomControls.co.uk/Crest... for a video of the interface and more information.
Thanks
