Crackling on ALL tracks
Hi, over the last few days I have noticed that every track I play is poor quality. Is there any reason for this? Youtube vids play fine, my own mp3's play fine, my download speed seems a stable 10mb when im downloading files etc. Have re-installed Spotify to no avail. I was thinking of subscribing to premium so to use on my Andriod phone and laptop..... but not sure now! Steve

Inappropriate?If you are using Wine on Linux to run Spotify, the sound driver settings might be responsible.

No, im on Vista Home Premium 32bit.... and nothing has changed with the laptop for weeks and weeks that could of caused this as far as i am aware.

Yup, all played brilliantly, been using spotify for about 6 months maybe more, am not a big user but never found any track to be bad quality until now. I have even listened to tracks on my playlist that I know were OK and now they are all crackling!

Inappropriate?I have this problem too. The crackling is intermittent and when it occurs it can sometimes be so bad that the song slows down in tempo, its a very annoying thing that makes spotyify, which I think is GREAT, unusable :(
I would really appriciate some help with this.

Inappropriate?I have constant crackling on every track, but no problems with sound when using internet streaming or music on hard played through real player. Have tried changing the various volume controls, listening offline, removing all spotify preferences, testing speakers, ensuring sound card is up to date. Is there anything else anyone can suggest? I love spotify and I'm gutted that, for no apparent reason, every track crackles.
