Display the number of available titles
I think that the number of available titles (for the country of the subscriber) should be visible in the clients. This will add customer satisfaction and motivate renewal of subsciptions due to added titles as well as motivate for new labels to be added to an already popular service. It would also be fair that a Premium customer has a wider selection than a non Premium customer.

Inappropriate? You can find out how many tracks are available to you by performing a simple search. Type the following into the search field and hit enter...
year:0-2100
In Sweden this currently returns 4,512,999 tracks.
The tracks available to premium and non-premium subscribers are, for the most part, identical. The only difference is normally if a pre-release is available to premium users for a couple of weeks before it's made available to everyone. So the difference in the numbers will usually be in single digits.
The only differences between premium and non-premium are that premium has no adverts, occasionally gets exclusive pre-releases available before they become available to all, and now has mobile access as well.

Better sound quality as well!
Btw, I have 8 more tracks. ;) But that's only because there are some mistagged releases after 2100. Like this one: http://open.spotify.com/album/23tNTgD... -
Inappropriate? The search is not very user friendly and seems to not return the number of matches on the iPhone client.
Better to add a count of tracks that is displayed when the client is started or in some info related page.
