Distorted sound gets solved by changing volume
I have a Dell Latidude D830 laptop with a SigmateTel High Definition Audio soundcard.
When I change song, sometimes the sound gets distorted. After I change the volume manually, physically on the laptop, the sound gets back to normal.
Sometimes the volume can go up by lowering the volume, and the distortions go away.. Perhaps this is an issue for dell, though I have never experienced it with e.g. Winamp.?

Inappropriate?The Spotify stream should in no way change or become un-distorted. Do you have all the latest sound card drivers?2 Comments

I do have the latest drivers, but as you say.. I suspect this is a dell related issue.. I thought I should ask if you've had any issues with this configuration. -
Not that I know of but there are so many possible configurations out there it's hard to remember them all.
