Error 117 and Error 113!!!!
aah! For a while now i can't log into spotify due to error 117. My firewall is alowing spotify and it's also alowing p2p conection. But still i can't seem to log in. Also a few times i have gotten error 113 but i'm not sure what do when i get that

Inappropriate?Try removing Spotify from the firewall and then re add it, does this help to get you logged on.

Inappropriate?nope tried this and it didnt work. i think i know what the problem was. i recently installed iolo antivirus and since then spotify hasnt been working. And im using the windows firewall.2 Comments

sorry, missed the "iolo antivirus". Can you see if that application have a firewall side as well where you could add spotify as trusted?

Inappropriate?no it dosen't. I have a router and i read somewhere that trying to conect the computer to the internt with a cable might help re set it. Do you think i should try this?1 Comment Add a comment

Sure, give it a try to see if a cable help. Error 113/117 is a message that spotify gives when there is a firewall blocking Spotify from connecting.
