Friends in Spotify, with Sharing features

I already know that you can share playlist as normal playlist or as a collaborative playlists, but i want, as i think sqrt want too, a feature like a community, with a friend list and a list on playlist the friend as marked as shared as a example.

That will make big change and should be wonderful!

When using collaborative playlists, it should have an 'added by' column, because maybe clicking the user's name could also link you to see their profile or request to see their own playlist(s). Adding to sqrt's comment, a friends list could be cool. It would boost the sharing networking even further!

This sounds really cool to me. But maybe it's better to not include this functionality in the client itself (except for links to the community so it's somehow connected). Spotify would remain clean, but still with wanted functionality.

I would love to be able to share playlists and tracks I find on spotify with my friends who also use spotify. To do this within Spotify would be ideal. When logging in you could see if your friends had left you anything nice to listen to.

Having a built-in friends list would be awesome. And an option to show or hide playlists to/from your added friends, you wouldn't want your black metal friends to see that you enjoy listening to Beyoncé, would you? :p

A built-in friend list would be like bullying to those who don't have friends. Plus I just want to listen to music. If I want people to know what I'm listening to, then I could just turn the option "what I listen to" on MSN. It'll just be disturbing. If such a thing comes to Spotify, then I hope they will have a Remove/Delete button for it.

(Someone also suggested in another thread that it would app with Facebook - Horrible nightmare! I'm just so entirely tired of the facebook-share-button appearing everywhere.)

I don't want the Spotify-app to turn into a community. Find or make a community website instead. If it became a whole community, the quality would depend on the users, and as the average standard of people isn't that good*, it would result in a not-as-good Spotify.

I'm totally fine with Spotify as it is now.

(* How I know? Ask yourself if the world is perfect.)

This is a great idea!!! I have been missing this feature in spotify... It`s great to find new songs through your best friends playlist when they find new great songs and update their playlist.

It`s also great to could play your own songs in your own playlist when you are visiting friends without logging out your friend.

It`s through my friends I get recommended the best songs and albums, especially the new ones.

And of course you will be able to turn the feature off, or decide what playlist you want to make private, for those who dont like to share.

Spotify friends, please make it possible!!!!!
