How Spotify should increase their library...
Hi!
I agree with the complaints about the limited musical library of spotify. I wonder if it would be possible to create some sort of forum where users can "wish" for songs/albums/artists, and then spotify can do the "legals"?

Inappropriate?Another nice feature would be if Spotify users could contribute with own music files. Some kind of upload function where Spotify then can sort and add good legal files to their archive.
I got a vast collection of really good Public Domain music that probably never will find its way to Spotify in any other way.

well, that doesnt really matter cause spotify pay the artist/the company who is being played. If i upload a pirated version of Jennifer Lopez brand new album here, then people will listen to it and spotify has to pay X to J-lo`s record company.. so don't think that will be any problem at all. Anyway, he state in his post: "where Spotify then can sort and add good legal files to their archive."

But the reason music isn't on there is because Spotify don't have the rights to publish it. If you're posting songs to add to the library, then anything posted by users would essentially be pirated material. I don't see how it could work.

Inappropriate?That upload idea is a good one. Of course it will take a WASTE amount of time to listen to all the tunes to see if they are clear and dont "choppy" in any way! But a really good idea
