Another thread is talking about incorrect names of bands and songs.
But the reply in that thread does not come with any solutions to how we can report in problems like inaccuracies that be when an album was released, names and so on.

It should not be a big problem adding an "Report" button i spotify where one can report what would be wrong.
Dropdown menu with pre made coises for easy sorting for Spotify and then a frre text erea for describing inaccuracie.

Inappropriate?Most of these inaccuracies regarding original release year comes from the label sending out the wrong release date. The example you choose is a bad one though. For me there are two versions of Oceanborn. When I check the Nightwish band page the original release shows up as it should. The alternate version, the re-release from 2007 that you linked to, is not directly visible.
But I still agree with your general idea. -
Inappropriate?There are many innaccuracies in the classical music listings. They sometimes obscure necessary information. For instance, the artist listed for a Brahms symphony is Brahms. I don't suppose it needs pointing out the Brahms left us before recording was invented.
Similarly, jazz gets poor accuracy. A Miles Davis album is represented as by Barbra Streisand.
