IMPORTANT! Restriction bug in Spotify ?
I am getting suspicious about, that there is a restriction bug in Spotify!
Everytime i look at the google doc containing the new releases, maybe 5-6 albums out of 10 are restricted for me as a Premium user in Sweden.
And i am not exaturating these numbers.
Either i am VERY unlucky, having a tendency to "choose" the restricted albums (and getting very disappointed as a result), or maybe there is some kind of software error in the restrictions system ?
In the latest release as of today on the blog, 02.02.2009, i was SO happy to find no less than 54 (!!!) "Tangerine Dream" albums. WOW i thougt!!!
But not a single one of them is available to me (amongst a lot of other artists announced)...
So i decided to dig in a little more, and here comes the interesting part:
Older "Tangerine Dream" albums are already available within Spotify, and they are from the EXACT same label as these new releaes which are not available!!!

As you see, they are both from the same label!
The difference is in the year tag of the label, the avaliable one stating:
"2000 TDI Music"/"2000 M.A.T. Music Theme Licensing GmbH",
the unavailable stating:
"2008 TDI Music"/2008 M.A.T. Music Theme Licensing GmbH"!
Therefore it seems to me, that the same label appears as two different labels due to the year tag!
So, is there a restriction bug somewhere in the software, misinterpreting the labels, or is there another reasonable explanation ?

Inappropriate?This isn't a bug, I made a mistake when publishing the list this time. Those Tangerine albums have been added to Spotify but their release date is listed much further in the future so they aren't actually available to play for anyone until that date. I normally remove all those instances from the list but missed them this time and I apologize for that.

I really must say that the great feedback, keeps me addicted to this great piece of software, and finding myself very involved everytime news are announced.
