Improving Spotify!
Here are some ideas. I tried to be as constructive as I could.
Community
Make the community built in too the application. I want to browse my friends profiles and be able to pick that users playlists (that are made public by option of course). Maybe have a small list of your top 5 played song or by choose. Avatars are always nice. I have a picture (vision if you like, sounds less crazy) in my head of a front page with "whats new" and all that, plus there is some music news, the most popular playlist's and more. The things you'd expect from the best music portal.
The home page as it is now needs to go too the gym, beef up, go home, take a shower and then back to the gym again. Please give the home page some serious steroids!
I really think Spotify have the potential to be the best music service/community on the internet. You have a great platform to build it around. Let's make it happen chop chop!

-Profiles. I want to be able too choose playlist/song from my friends.
-Beefed up home page. Make the best damn music portal there is
-Premium accounts need more exclusive stuff.
-Customization. Make the UI "skinable".
-Make the non-collabrative playlist's to auto update.
-Browsing by genre and/or sort by genre. pretty please?
-Mobile clients. Enough said to be honest.

Inappropriate?simple idea for me: folders! I've got a playlist the size of my arm and it's getting a little overwhelming...thinking about it, tags would be nice, too :-)

Inappropriate?Global Hotkeys is a must. Having to switch to spotify instead of pressing something like ctrl-alt-end to pause is tiresome.

Being able to set the colour of individual playlists title without any hassle (maybe holding the mouse over a playlist, then pressing down ctrl and scrolling, or similar) would be sweet for easy browsing.

Inappropriate?i don't see any point in the skinning thing (the gui is nice enough), and in general i'd prefer if you could keep the software as light as possible, since i'm pretty sure people usually run spotify in the background while doing something else

Inappropriate?I agree with all of these ideas, especially the "beefing up" of the home page. Profiles would be very good and really help build a community around Spotify and help sharing playlists with friends much easier.
