iPod Spotify - sound too high

Using the new iPod app. Sound level through Spotify app is really loud. Have to set volume to 10% to get normal volume in my headphones. When pressing menu and then entering spotify again the volume is max - despite the slider being on 10%. It corrects itself when the slider is moved. Sounds like a bug to me...
