Make it possible to post comments in collaborative playlists
Hi,
I love collaborative playlists, probably one of the best features with spotify! However, I'm lacking the possibility to make and post comments to the collaborative playlist. It would be great if you could comment different songs or make a comment on why you add a specific song.
Another fun thing with collaborative playlists is to create rules for them. Eg. Every other user you can only add one song per day, this makes it more exciting!

Inappropriate?Awesome! Would be nice with a tag that shows WHO added the song. And also popularity within the group of people who shares the playlist.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Yeah, advanced settings for collaborative playlists would be perfect. Like an option to enable voting in a playlist that would allow every user to like or dislike songs (maybe a certain number of times per track, user and day) that appear in the list. Combine that with a protected remove function and you would be able to create dynamic toplists.
I’m excited

Inappropriate? And for deleting songs from play list you should be able to set a percentage of users that need to agree with deleting the song before it get deleted. And/or you could set a time limit, when a song is tagged for deletion, if no one has disagreed before time run out it get deleted.

Inappropriate? These are great suggestions, but Spotify seems to have their focus on the music right now, which they ought to.
Of course, constantly expanding their library is obvious, but right now they are lacking. The bitrate needs to be kicked up a few notches too if they want to attract hifi listeners.
I'd love to see them move towards last.fm's style of community with these kinds of features though, It's cumbersome being forced to use another application to share my playlists, like email or IM. -

Inappropriate? This might not exactly be what you're looking for, but you might want to try Mixifier. There you can post comments on a collaborative playlist.
Mixifier is a Facebook application that allows you to share Spotify playlists with your friends and send mixtapes (opens as playlists in Spotify) to selected people.
You can try Mixifier at http://apps.facebook.com/mixifier/ or read more at http://www.mixifier.com/

Mixifier looks nice, but I prefer to use a simple web page for that and not have to -or make my friends having to- install yet another app on facebook.
http://www.sharemyplaylists.com works quite well for that as you can share the playlists with your friend like any normal web page (only you have to select the thumbnail manually).
I also has a web page for each playlist, with an introduction, playlist art, and comments. I find this gives a richer experience when sharing spotify playlists.
Eg: http://www.sharemyplaylists.com/faile... -
Inappropriate?I adore Spotify -- totally addicted. It would be even more awesome if you could make comments on tracks in people's shared playlists. You could explain why you added the track to someone else's playlist, or why you love it so much and what it means to you.

Inappropriate?Collaborative list is the best feature, but isn't really as collaborative as it should be. Just adding/deleting tracks is not enough. We NEED some way to talk to our friends and discuss the reasons of our "musical" actions. An editable post/comment field (e.g 100chars limit, one per track) would be a GREAT new addition.
I’m looking forward

Inappropriate? There are some great ideas here! I agree with what someone said a bit earlier about Spotify needing to concentrate on expanding their music and improving quality but features like the collaborative playlists make Spotify really stand out in terms of a music player. I've been using Spotify for a while and whenever I drift off to use a different player, collaborative playlists seem to be the thing that pulls me back!

Inappropriate?Trying to draw spotify developers attention here! (again)
I currently sharing songs with four friends; as the collaborative list gets larger we have no other option but make new ones to somehow "sort" what's new (recently added), who did it and why. Would it be so hard to add at least another column with the user who added the song and when? I completely sure this would be a UNIQUE FEATURE to definitively launch spotify to the top of online (even offline) music players!
(at the same time, spotify could save database entries as just one list would be necessary!)
If considered as a good idea, I would be really pleased to read the opinion of a staff member.
I’m anxious
