Music stutters
Since last Spotify updated every single song starts off by lagging. Sounds like a really old casette tape. Is this fault with my computer or with spotify? I dont think its with my computer since i have not changed anything and spotify has been running well for a month.
I have never had problems with spotify before and this is ruining all interest in buying the product.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem. Spotify seems to skip for the first few seconds of each track and if I try to move to a different point in the song, it skips for about 30 seconds until resuming playing. Very strange! I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling, i'll let you know if it works. -

Inappropriate?Ah, turns out it's the hardware acceleration option in Edit/Preferences/Sound. Hardware acceleration needs to be off. That works for me.

Inappropriate?I ahve had this for ages - it's doing it now and its only 10am in the morning! Only a very short jump but does negate all the effort you guys have put into adding that amazing Naxos back catalogue - 53secs in Karajans EMI Beethoven 9th and it jumps then again at 5mins or so and then again at 6:57 - it's such a small thing but IT IS the reason why I (and I am sure other serious listeners?) could never rely on Internet streamed music, no matter what the back catalogue or quality of compression ratios as their main source! I have high quality listening system, Macbook to AVI ADM 9.1 active studio monitors - it sounds amazing even at 160kbps - but not when it jumps :-(
