My 4th device has been unsynchronised. What does that mean?
I have been playing around with two Macs and two iPhones and have installed Spotify (premium) on all devices. When I opened up Spotify on the final (4th device) iPhone I got a message saying that Spotify could only be synchronised on 3 devices so this device would be unsynchronised. I pressed 'OK', not really sure what I was doing, and everything seemed OK. When I tried to play music from that iPhone the active Spotify client on my desktop paused (which I understand). But I don't understand what HAS happened....
The last device that I synchronised was my main iPhone, so I wouldn't want it to be lower down in any hierarchy. What disadvantage is it at having been unsynchronised and is there any way I can change that?

Inappropriate?I also recently had this issue (about Saturday 15.00 CET). But I only got one Android phone and two computers that I access Spotify with. But I don't think our computers are causing this errors. I figured this could be for offline synchronizing, because then when I tried to listen anyway Spotify had gone into offline mode and destroyed my offline playlists and the phone hang. Only solution to remove battery. Ended up with a corrupted memory-card and had to reformat. Wee.. Everything I had saved on card was gone. =)
Could it be bad synchronizing that makes Spotify servers believe the same client is installed on another device?
Must be a server issue. Is it resolved?
I’m confused

Inappropriate?Same problem. Seems to be fixed by turning off sync on another device and reinstall+resync on the iPhone
I'd rather be able to deactivate whichever device I choose than having one randomly(?) deactivated -
Inappropriate?Yeah I have 1 PC and 1 ipod touch and just got this message. It removed my synced files but I resynced it and it's fine.
I’m not fussed

So to change with devices you can use offline, you just make sure that one of the devices you were using before has no offline playlists?
