Playback Only from cache
I'd love to see an option to playback tracks only if they're already in the cache.
If I have my laptop out with me and I'm using mobile broadband I might quite like to listen to tracks but not waste my bandwidth (The limits on some mobile packages are absolutely tiny!) so the ablity to be able to tell spotify not to try to play anything not in the cache would be great.
I know you could probably just try to be careful and play stuff you've already listened to and hope it's coming from the cache but I'd prefer to make sure with an option in the settings.

My worry about you calling it an 'offline' mode is that you might be considering something that is only activated when actually offline and then when it finds a connection it would automatically reconnect or keep nagging me that you've found a connection and ask if I want to reconnect.
I hope in the implementation I would have the option to tell it to go into 'offline' mode and stay that way even if a connection exists - for the reason I explained above that I might have a connection but not want to use if for bandwidth considerations

I think any feature we develop would likely have the option for the user to decide what is available for offline play. -
Mmm, something like a "flight" mode they have on Mobile phones would be good.

I think a time limit feature, that forces the user to verify it spotify's account on interfal, for example, two days must be implemented to not disatisfy the labels.
