Record label as browsing and searching criteria
I'd like to be able to see the label information on each release and browse and search based on the publisher. Usually when searching for new music, checking out what my favourite independent labels have released recently is more fruitful than searching based on something as vague as genre.
(For a good example of a working music browsing system check out eMusic.com, I'd like to see many of the same browsing features and bulk of the catalog here.)

Inappropriate?The label information is already there as a small copyright notice on each album's page (of course with the majors seeing the imprint would be more useful.) All you need to do is add some kind of way of browsing the albums based on this..
