See statistics in collaborative playlists
It would be nice to see for example:
- number of times a song is played
- who added the song
- number of times a song is played
- who added the song

Great idea! It could also show the total number of hours a playlist has been played. The owner could also be shown which songs have been deleted from a collaborative playlist to make sure nobody trashes the list.
I’m excited

Great idea! I'd also think it'd be great if each song in the playlist could have a little comments thread attached (only in the playlist) that people sharing the playlist could mention their thoughts about a song on :)

Inappropriate?yes!

Inappropriate?indeed, great idea!

Inappropriate?come on... when is this happening?
Feels like it shouldn't be too much work to enable the "who added this song"-feature?
I’m waiting.. And waiting..

Inappropriate?Plus, perhaps some way of restricting deleting of other peoples songs - for example the Glastonbury collaborative playlist has hundreds of collaborators, but some people delete tracks without permission. Something like contributors vs editors.

Maybe you should start a new thread about this? -

This is a very important point. The idea of having a collaborative playlist needs to be supported by the ability to undo destructive behaviour. -
Inappropriate?Pro tip: Look at how dropbox does it, and steal their system! It keeps track of who added what, who deleted what, and the best thing: Everything is undoable with just a mouseclick. That way anyone could contribute, but the owner of the list can undo destructive changes easily.

Inappropriate?I had the same idea. New column to show who added each track - maybe colour code each person's name so it's easy to read. And play counts.
I’m EEE!

Inappropriate?yeah that would be great!
Right now am I skipping between two accounts, but with the same playlists so it's very important for me to use collaborative playlists on those. But I know that i may have shared one of my lists somewhere and this morning someone , no idea who, had added 2 songs to it. That's okay, but now I'm very worried that someone would get the idea of deleting the songs or something like that. You don't know any way to save it as it is, or like copy the songs and paste them into a new playlist? because I really like it and don't want it to disappear :(.

You could just create a new collaborative playlist, add all the songs from the old one, and then remove the old one.
