spotify 64 bit windows 7
Spotify won't install in 64 bit windows 7, build 7100. Compatibility modes don't help either.

Inappropriate?Have you tried now with the new version 0.3.18 that is available for download?

Inappropriate?Strange, I am using spotify on windows 7 x64 build 7100 with no problems. Occasionally there is difficulty with the auto-update but clean install always works for me.
It will complain that it is in admin mode when started from the installer or after an update but running it normally should work.
Have you tried redownloading the installer just incase is corrupted?
At what point does the installation fail?

Inappropriate?Hi! I'm trying to install Spotify on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits but it's not installing! :S it says me that spotify's running with admin privileges.
How can i do? Did you find a solution for this? -
Inappropriate?Yeah! I have the same problem.. Running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
Spotify Installer "just" starts Spotify, but don't install it. Running 0.3.22 -

Carl-Axel, är detta nått som dykt upp med senaste builden? -
Inappropriate?Same problem here. I got a brand new computer (Acer Timeline 3810 with Windows 7). Yesterday I installed Spotify, and when I should start it 15 minutes ago I couldn't find it. Strange, I thought, and downloaded and installed it again. After installation I looked after the files because I wanted to do a shortcut in the start menu. Couldn't find them. I exited Spotify and tried to start it again, which of course didn't work becuase there was no files to be found.
So, everytime I wan't to use Spotify I have to start it with the file 'Spotify Installer.exe'. -
Inappropriate?Ditto, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I wonder whether there is a switch or argument you can pass to force it to install?

Inappropriate?I had the same problem (on Windows 7 Enterprise x64) when downloading installer from spotify.com, but then I downloaded (version 0.3.22) from spotify.en.softonic.com/ and it worked!

But now the installer from spotify.com also works. It seems like it has been fixed. -

Inappropriate?Yes, tested it now (still 0.3.22) but it works on Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
