Spotify fails to scrobble: Unable to contact server (Error 309)
I'm having trouble getting Spotify to scrobble. I get this error, and queued tracks, in Spotify.
Username and password are correct, am logged in to Last.fm, not behind a proxy, same problem on multiple machines.
Sometimes the odd track seems to go through. Am running latest Mac Spotify.

Inappropriate?Come on Spotify! Please reply! I'm on the latest Mac with the latest Spotify, and repeatedly getting the same problem. Right now, I've *130* tracks queued, and I know if I shut the program down I'm going to lose them all ... (((

There is currently no solution for the scrobbling error. We've identified the problem and have a fix prepared for the next update of Spotify.

Inappropriate?It hasn't been fixed yet. I thought shutting down Spotify and restarting it would help (as sometimes happens when last.fm stops scrobbling), but it didn't and I lost 100 tracks that were queued :-(

Inappropriate?I enabled scrobbling today, and it worked on the Mac for a short period. Then I also got error 309. This is Spotify Mac 0.3.11 rev 42958.

If you are on an intel mac, you can download Version 0.3.12 (revision 44756) from the spotify website directly. This fixed the scrobbling probs for me. See this thread: http://getsatisfaction.com/spotify/to...
