Spotify files taking up disk space
My hard disk has a lot of files with long names and a ".file" extension in "application data/spotify". Are they temporary files that I can delete?

Inappropriate?Spotify caches files on your disc for you to be able to access them faster, and also to make them available for other users to peer from you. You can read more about this on wikipedia, or why not in the official spotify faq http://www.spotify.com/en/help/faq/#d...
If you think that spotify uses to much disk-space, I would change the configuration (Ctrl+P or via Edit/Preferences in the menus), and the first option in there is to configure the cache. This way you can make a permanet change instead of having to delete the files after using spotify.
