Spotify for Android forgets login details and player settings.
Since the last update of the Android client Spotify forces me to sign in with my account details every time I start the application. It also forgets settings for shuffle/repeat in the player. Signing in with my strong password on a touch screen keyboard takes more than a minute. Nothing I can do while in the car. Spotify for Android is kind of unusable in this current state.

We are not sure what causes this, but the problem seems to occur when upgrading from a previous version. Please un-install, then re-install Spotify. That should solve the problem.

Inappropriate?Could you let us know what Android phone you have as well as the firmware version on the phone?
Also, have you tried to uninstall/reinstall Spotify to see if this solves the problem?

Inappropriate?Yes, re-installing did in fact work. Thanks! There seems to be a lot of angry comments in the Android market about this problem. The solution wasn't quite obvious, so a new release that doesn't need a prior uninstall, or at least write a note about it in the Android market.
