Spotify not working, "update failed"
I can't get access to Spotify. I always get the message "Update failed". My username and password are ok because I can log onto the Spotify site.

Inappropriate?I had a similar problem: when trying to start Spotify behind a proxy, it said "update failed".
Solution - used non-proxied connection to let Spotify update itself. -

Try uninstalling Spotify and download a new version from our website and see if that solves your upgrading problem. -

Inappropriate?I have the same problem, have tried uninstalling programme but message keeps coming up saying Spotify in use & close before preceding. Spotify wasn't in use tried & tried again but get sae message so what should I do please ?

Inappropriate?All it was with mine was the Spotify Logo was in my Taskbar so I right clicked on it & clicked exit. I was able then to uninstall the programme & then reinstall.The funny thing is it wasn't there when I posted my query !!!! Hope this helps you, Lyn

Inappropriate?I have tried to reinstall 8 times with no result, having deleted and tried to uninstall all downloads with no success.

Inappropriate?Where is an answer?? All I get is an email returning me back to the original "help" page. Do you know what you are doing? Do you not know how to resolve these problems??
Forget the images I feel like I'm trying to communicate with idiots and there isn't an image for that!
