Inappropriate?Interesting idea, so you'd want to search the Spotify catalogue directly from Mac OS? Is there any other type of program that does this, would interested to see an example?

Inappropriate?I don't have an example I'm afraid. But imagine how cool it would be if you could just hit cmd-space, type a song name, hit return, and it starts playing.

Inappropriate?Well since (afaik) spotify doesn't save it's entire catalog on each computer this means you would need to make API calls from spotlight.
is the spotify API ready yet?
