Telling me my current location does not match one set in my profile?
I downloaded Spotify a few weeks ago, and it's been working perfectly fine, but 14 days ago i got a message telling me that my current location is not the one in my profile. My current location is the United Kingdom, and my IP address comes from the UK also.
Can you fix this?

Like i said up there, i've checked my IP address, and it's telling me that im from the United Kingdom - the Isle Of Man to be precise.
I was just using my Spotify from Home.
Is there anything you can do to help?

Isle Of Man, can sometimes be a problem to login from since they have there own country code, IM.
Give it a try to login from a regular UK internet connection or buy premium and you can login from where ever you are since you can "travel" as long as you are a premium member. -
Inappropriate?I also have this problem. I live in France, my ISP checks out as French and my profile address is French. I miss my music!!

The only explanation for our own geolocation error is that our own geolocation databse has not been updated with your current IP range. Unfortunately, this means that we will not be able to provide you with the free service for longer than 14 days.
Please accept my apologies for this.
I would hope that our database will be updated again, and will allow you to continue to receive the service. However, I cannot be sure when this will happen. -

What is your username? Let's have an extra look at your case and see what our database think you are in.
A direct solution for you could also be to upgrade your French account to premium account. This will make it possible to "travel" and use Spotify as long as you are premium. Until we better can identify that you are a on French IP. -
