Travelling with Spotify more than 14 days?
I travel internationally at times, sometimes for days, sometimes for months. Only recently started using Spotify and noticed: "Your current location does not match that set in your profile. You may travel with Spotify, but only for 14 days.". I therefore have two questions:
1. If I am out of my country for less than two weeks before "touching back" on home soil, I do not have to do anything, right?
2. If I am away for more than two weeks, can I update the location (either set myself as away on business or change my country of residence temporarily)?
3. Can I use Spotify if in a country where you usually do not provide service, if I am there for less than two weeks?

Inappropriate?1. Correct, away for less than 14 days and you'll have no problems.
2. This depends, if you are in a country where the free version is available you can change your country temporarily but if Spotify Free isn't available then it will not work.
3. Yes, if you are less than 2 weeks you'll still be able to use it there regardless of whether we've launched or not. -

If you haven't changed anything in your profile you don't need to do anything. Spotify will recognize that you are back home. -

Inappropriate?I am traveling back and forth between Sweden and Denmark daily and suddenly my Spotify at the office in Denmark stopped working. It is saying that:
"Your current location is different from that you set in your profile, if you've moved please update your profile. You can travel for 14 days or upgrade to premium for unlimited travel."
But I do use Spotify quite often in Sweden (where I have set my location) and until recently it hasn't been any problem. Has there been a policy change? Or could it be that since I am using 3 as mobile internet provider (works both in sweden and denmark) that is the problem?1 Comment Add a comment

It all depends on your IP address. If 3 uses a Danish IP you'll have problems but as long as you connect with a swedish IP you should be fine.
