Two "this is ... from Spotify" adverts in a row.
I was listening to Spotify earlier today, and after listening to several songs I had two of those adverts that go something like "this is ... from Spotify" informing me about Spotify Premium (a different person in each one). I don't mind occasionally having two adverts in a row, but surely they shouldn't be so similar to one another?

Inappropriate?Preferably this wouldn't happen but we don't have a rule for similar ads, just one for not playing the same ad twice in a row. Hopefully we can diversify the ads a lot more in the near future.1 Comment

Inappropriate?The voices and script of these ads annoys me, listening to 1 drives me mad.
'HI! THIS IS ADAM FROM SPOTIFY! WE CLEAN GRIME AND LIME! LOOK WHAT WE CAN DO TO THIS PENNY!"

Inappropriate?Hi Jonathan from Spotify, some time I hear your ad two times in a row. I enjoy Spotify as much as you do but I guess you don't have to listen to yourself saying two times the same things. Looking at my history I saw that the two ads have different title but the same context. Maybe this is the problem. Unless if it is not a problem but a trick!!!

I love ads, I feel less lonely whenever Jonathan says hi to me.
Do you think that Free Spotify is a gift horse? The more ads the have, the more money they get. If they do not play the same ad two times, they will have more time for other ads. -
Inappropriate?Actually, I really don't mind the ads that much, but I find it annoying that the same ads play over. I get the "Hi, I'm Jonathon....blablabla" ad twice in row, always.
The main reason I posted here simply because an official Spotify rep stated "we don't have a rule for similar ads, just one for not playing the same ad twice in a row". A rule which obviously doesn't work as intended.
