What is Spotify's roadmap for improvements to the client and metadata?
Content is added continuously to Spotify now, music catalogue is growing and growing...great!
But what about the progress to the client and metadata? This seems to be stucked!
There are many bugs and flaws here and there and many many suggestions for improvements were made by us users in the meantime.
Much content is good, but please put some power in the client and the metadata too again to give us a much better user experience when dealing with this much content in the client!
So do you have any roadmaps for new client and metadata updates? When could we expect the next bigger update here that will hopefully take many of our suggestions into consideration?

Inappropriate?i've been using spotify for about half a year and reading / posting here @ getsatisfaction for approx 3 months
during that time i've seen quite a few good ideas here and i've seen company mention their plans for some of them
in any case, during the time i've been lurking here or even using spotify, one album that i was hoping to be added, was - and the metadata on it is largely wrong
i haven't noticed any new features nor improvements on existing ones
of course i realize (especially being a coder myself) that software development takes a lot of time and critical bugs need to be prioritized, but i wouldn't mind hearing a timetable for some of the stuff you're working on - even if it is just a guesstimate
I’m confident as well

Inappropriate? We don't have a publicly available roadmap. Some stuff we're working can take a lot of development, for instance developin Spotify for Andriod, etc. I don't think you're going to see one particularly big update with lots of new features, etc. We tend to develop and release features as they are ready rather than have big releases.

Andres, it's not only new features i have asked about (although it would be really great if some of the brilliant ideas would be implemented soon), but there are many BUGS and FLAWS in the client and metadata that we have posted here in the forum several times and with which we live since many many months now. Bugfixing should have a higher priority at Spotify, because known bugs that don't get fixed are very very annoying! :-( -
Inappropriate?Another issue i forgot in my initial post:
I have noticed that more and more albums are missing the review text from All Music Guide. Are there any plans to add these missing album descriptions some day? Why not update it periodically from AMG, once a week or a month for example?
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?what i'm looking for is not a big update with lots of new features, but an update with just one of the new features that have been said to be in development (or at least in planning) ages ago
like playlist sorting
or user feedback on mistagging
or gapless playback
or fixing the sliding banners problem
or making the queue system make sense
or targeted adverts
these are just a few things off the top of my head that have been posted about in here quite a bit, since quite a while and i'd just like to know what's going on with them - it's good that you take the time to consider all the possibilities and pick the right one before implementing it, but just let us users know a ballpark figure of when we could actually see some of this stuff
