We currently don't have any plans for Windows Mobile. And we do want to launch on as many platforms as possible.
- But if we get plans we will announce it on the blog, https://www.spotify.com/blog, keep an eye there!
And to help us know more on how many people have a windows mobile, vote on the topic here in the forums as well as update your profile in Spotify to let us known what mobile platform you are using, update here:

Just to be clear about what we've said as there seems to be some confusion that we've ruled out a WM client which is not true - we want to be on as many devices as possible!
However, we don't discuss product roadmaps or announce new products until we have some to show or release. I know some of you are looking for a more concrete answer or date but until the day we have something to release we can't say much more.

Inappropriate?Until nanoGroove gets support for offline playlists and Grooveshark prove that they give the artists the right amount of money, I will continue to support Spotify with a premium account and hope that they in the near future will support windows mobile.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Don't you think that Spotify earns enough money to invest in a Windows Mobile app? Android and Iphone support has been on the market for months now. How hard could it be to create a version for Windows? A customer doesn’t care about how much money Spotify, or any other company for that matter, support their artists. They want functionality. There are too many Windows Mobile users for Spotify to ignore.

Speak for yourself!! As an MU member and a working musician I, and I think you will find many others, will fundamentally disagree with you here!! If you are happy living in a world of repeats on telly then good luck to you, but not for me and unless the arts are funded by business creativity will certainly not cease, but quality, variety and innovation will decline. we are not all platinum selling stars, or have appeared on XFactor and we wouldn't get heard (or paid for our hard work!!) otherwise, as the traditional music industry has changed irrevocably thanks to file sharing. Change is good, but a new model HAS to emerge to pay people for doing their jobs! Would you want to, or could you afford to, do what you do for for a living for free? -
Inappropriate?I'm a working musician as well. But I have faced the fact that if you don't get that huge breakthrough. Well, then you have to be an ordinary hard working man, until the breakthrough. I don't think I will earn a lot of money on my future albums. Touring and playing around the world. That makes money.
I don't mind to find my music on the web. That’s advertising. We are living in a modern world. We have to accept the fact that it is easy to access all the media, and for free. There will always be hackers’ tracing down and spreading our work.
If you want to earn money by selling platinum, then you will have to be more creative. The world is yours for the taking, there are no limitations.
PS. I'm a Spotify Premium user. I'm supporting both the artists and Spotify for their work. Don't tink otherwise -
Yes, good advertising, agreed, but we all need to eat!! well reassured! good luck!! -
Inappropriate? The clock is ticking for Spotify. After the release details of the new iPad, we were once again reminded of why so many of us use Windows based products; the soothing proprietary world of Apple, doesn't suit everybody. And when HTC continues to release their top models (HD 2) with Win Mobile, it doesn't seem appealing to change to an Android based phone. Unfortunately, Andres comment about giving them a breather, because they just finished the App for Symbian, goes to show that Spotify got it all wrong when dealing with their customers. When operating with products and merchandises, the customers are (sadly?) not very interested in the fatuigelevel of the companies’ employees. It is the product, and the product alone, that counts. Spotify is a great product, but right now you need to awaken from your beauty sleep. Your customers are getting agitated and considering other options. The clock is ticking.

Inappropriate?Been waiting for Spotify for months now, since i got my HTC Windows Mobile phone. All my iPothead-friends are laughing at me, who has to torrent all my music.
I’m feeling stupid.

Inappropriate?Been waiting for this since the start of spotify. It almost seems to me as if the spotify developers have something against the windows platform. The only api available is a linux based one. The windows spotify app, while great when it first came out is now lagging behind. What was considered a great first app quickly becomes old, and a year after release one would expect more. It needs to integrate with the platform better, it needs more features and it needs a windows mobile version.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Have to say that I'm really disappointed that there is no Spotify WM application.
@niclas: I agree, and as I work with programmers I know that there is a lot of "OS Religion", and it can look like that might be the case here too :(
I will continue, for now, to use mySpot and be a premium subscriber on a month to month basis until there's either a WM client or a similar service with WM client shows up.
I’m disappointed

Inappropriate?Im using windows mobile and would love it on my phone. Surely to it shouldnt be too hard to make either.
-
Inappropriate?Still waiting for a WM client. With .net compact framework, how hard can it be? If a lone developer is making an application on his spare time (mySpot), then a company like Spotify must surely be able to make an app for Windows Mobile. I'm actually amazed that S60 was supported before WM... are Spotify waiting for an approval on Windows Markedplace before they announce it?
I’m frustrated
