Is there some kind of credit card decline management in spreedly?
Meaning, when credit cards get declined (expired, over balance, etc.) some kind of alert goes out to the card holder letting them know they need to updated their credit card within some kind of grace period?

Inappropriate?Yes, currently we run renewals a day before the period expires (the period will be customizable in the future) and send both the subscriber and the site owner (you) an email if the transaction fails.
We also pass back a field in the API, card-expires-before-next-auto-renew, that tells you if the card will have to be updated before the next period. You can use that to show a message in your UI to the customer so they can pre-emptively fix the card.

Inappropriate?Hi, Is there any automation if the credit card fails (i.e. due to lack of funds or fraud reasons)? On receiving the email, do we manually need to go in and disable that users account or is this information available via the API?
I’m confused

Inappropriate? The user's account will automatically go inactive at the end of the term unless the renew goes through and extends the time. The only manual process is whatever you want to do to try to keep the account current - for some sites it's fine to just stick with the email the user already gets from Spreedly when the renew doesn't go through, but other sites will additionally want to drop them a direct email, give them a call, etc.
Does that answer your question?
