What happens on upgrade/downgrade with lifetime subs?
i’m a bit confused as to what happens WRT lifetime subs and upgrading.
e.g.
- User is bronze user.
- We give lifetime silver subs
- User upgrades to gold subs
I’m a bit confused as to what happens in this use case. Equally what happens if the user then downgrades later on?

Inappropriate?Lifetime subscription state is tracked separately from timed-limited subscription state, and the time-limited subscription takes precedence. So what will happen in your scenario is:
- You cancel the user's bronze subscription and put them on lifetime silver. They're now on silver.
- They purchase a one month gold subscription, and for a month (or as long as it renews if they're on auto-renew) they'll be at the gold level.
- If their gold subscription expires, they will revert to the silver lifetime.

what happens though if they downgrade from gold to bronze. What happens to the lifetime silver? -
Spreedly doesn't know the difference between an upgrade and a downgrade, so if they go to bronze they will have that feature level until it runs out, at which point they'll revert back to silver. -
