What happens when a trial expires?
What happens exactly when a free trial expires?
Does the user get a notification?
Does an admin get a notification?
Can I customize any notification emails?
So far as I've been able to discern the answers to these questions is "No" which is rather disappointing.
Being able to manage what happens with these users is going to be key in increasing conversions from trial to paid accounts.
Would love some insight as to what happens during this process and when we'll be able to better manage it. Thanks!

Inappropriate?Spreedly does not currently send out any emails about expiring trial plans. That said, it does notify via the API, since the subscriber flips from active to inactive. So you should be able to watch for a user going inactive, check if they were on a trial plan, and send them an email in that case. Would that work for now?
Long-term we'd like to offer more tools around this, but it'll be awhile before we can tackle it.
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate? In my opinion we shouldn't have to rely on the api (and our own coding) for this, since it's a pretty basic business fundamental.
To make things worse there is no easy way to filter subscribers in the spreedly admin UI...
It's in your best interest to enable spreedly users to quickly and easily engage expired subscribers. Everyone is losing money without this feature.
I’m disappointed

Inappropriate?I couldn't agree more, it's just a matter of too much to do and not enough time. For the foreseeable future some other development (such as searching subscribers) is at the top of our priority list, but we'll be revisiting trial notifications down the road.
Didn't mean to intimate that I was giving the final solution, just a workaround you could use if you wanted to for the time being.
I’m wishing there was more time in the day
