Inappropriate? It's the same policy with all Mobile phones, wait around 22 months before you can upgrade. I love how people come in thinking just because they have been a customer for like 20 million years they can get a discount.
Get me a discount on my next toyota car then we'll talk.
I always recommend getting insurance for this purpose, or make sure it's the phone you want to get! Always get insurance!
I always recommend my customers to try all the phones and make sure it's the phone they want, I try my best to get them to get insurance, A LOT don't listen, and thus we get customers like you, upset.
But you should take your phones to a repair center anyways, they will fix for a charge but atleast they will fix it.
AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon(not exactly sure of verizon but I know ATT and Tmobile is this way for sure) Dont have repair centers, so if anything happens to your phone your stuck! And if you do get their insurance, you will have to pay $50 to replace it regardless of the problem, atleast sprint lets you try getting it fixed for free if you have insurance.

This comment by the Sprint employee is a prime example of their poor customer service. BTW, the contraction for "you are" is "you're" - not "your". -
Inappropriate?I have insurance so obviously u dont know what your talking about. I have taken these phones in to the nextel store to have them serviced. Each time they say they cant fix them and have to order me a new one. As for the insurance why the hell would i want to pay $50 to get the exact same phone Ive been having problems with????? I told ya Ive went through 5 of them in the past 7 months. At least when nextel ran things you could get results. I dont think its to much to as for a new phone. Hell I would even pay the $50 to insurance to get the i-880 but you cant do that. You have to get the same exact phone. So what do u say now Mr. EXPERT?????
I’m really pissed now

Inappropriate?Hey, if you don't want my help, then fine. I'm here voluntarily, so don't go yelling at me. You never mentioned you had insurance.
Now, rather then yelling at me, I'm going to say this...in the STORES they are limited as to what they can do, they HAVE to go by what the computer says, and what the Prices are. BUT if you really want the new phone badly, and obviously you do. Call *2 from your phone, customer care, we always do this with our customers when they aren't able to get a phone with us, call them, basically say you hate your phone, it keeps breaking, and you will quit sprint service if you don't get an early upgrade. 99% of the time they give you the upgrade. It should work as most of our customers we just tell them to do that and about 20 minutes later they are telling us they getting the discount.
Don't go into the store anymore, apparently the area you live in the Rep's don't want to help, oh, and if the customer service doesn't do anything, call again, try like 3 times, because sometimes you get a retarded person that doesn't care(just like your store go figure)...so just try it...almost gauranteed you will get an early upgrade AS Long as you have had your current phone for a little over a year. -
What kind of company allows an employee to speak to a customer this way? And why in the world does the customer have to go through all that trouble to get some customer service? Hello, the operative word in customer service is "service"! -
Inappropriate?im sorry but ive done all of the things u said to do. that is how i got them down to 129. i called 4 times and spoke to 3 supervisors. noone seemed to care they kept bouncing me from department to department. so i had to settle for either another 850 or buying a 880 for 129. so can u do anything to help????
I’m out of gas

Inappropriate?I might have one suggestion left, tell me how many lines you have, and what plan you're on, how many minutes etc you get...I might have an idea...
-
Inappropriate?i have the get everything for $99 plan. i only have 1 line.
-
Inappropriate?Okay, if you are willing to have a different phone number this is what I would suggest.
Call Customer care and ask to put your phone on a $5 SEASONAL PLAN. This will make your phone $5/mo but you are unable to use it.
Next go into the store, and get a new line, on your $99 plan, Don't deal with the reps, just get your phone and get out, Once your done, if your willing to give me your number, and once you receive your next bill (there may be proration so I would do this at the end of your billing cycle, ask Cust care and see when it is)..then give me your new number and I can see if I can crediit you for the $26 activation fee.
So you will have two lines, and your monthly will be $104 because you have the $5 plan on your old phone(add $7 for any insurance), then once that old phone is out of contract cancel it.
This is the last thing I can think of doing... -
Inappropriate?i cant do that. i use my number for everything. im a truck driver and dont have a home phone cause im never home. so i use my cell # for everything. i cant change it cause then if someone needs to get ahold of me they cant. it would take me forever to call every single person and place to give them new #. this really sucks. thanks for trying.
I’m sad again
-
Inappropriate?no problem, I would then just buy off craigslist, or use your old phone if it was better until the upgrade...
-
Inappropriate?i just dont have the cash to do that. im just gonna pay it down on my bill (880). i cant keep using the 850 until nov 09 with it shutting itself off during calls. could u try getting me a little more of a discount?
-
Inappropriate?Um..If you were in my store I could lol, but other then that just ask the rep that you buy the phone from if theres any "Maximize" option, just say another rep said to mention it just in case...sometimes customers qualify for $70 off next bill and stuff...if not I would also just do a buy back of your old phone, you might get like $20 or something for it...
-
Inappropriate?where is your store? if i give u my info could u try some things for me tomarrow? ive already ordered the 880. pleaseeeee help, put my faith back in customer service and sprint.
-
