Elite Class? What's this? Why would anyone want to be level 1 again?
Suddenly we can become Elite Class but you get reset to level 1.... other than a badge whats the point?

Inappropriate?Think of it like this: You're a warrior and you become an elite warrior. Obviously you're not going to be a level 35 elite warrior if you just became one. -

Inappropriate?Elite class, that's a good thing. Basically once you've passed 40 you become Elite class level 1. Instead of going up to level 100, 40 is the ceiling until you become elite class. So don't think it a bad thing, it's actually good.

False. After you level up, you will be. But when you reset, you are far worse than a regular level 40. Just look around from your level 40 account at elites, they are all low risk right now

Inappropriate?oh boy, I've been playing so hard to generate enough money for safehouses, I don't think it is fair to loose them. Neither the weapons. In real life, if you get an upgrade, you don't loose everything you have, so should be in this game.
I think this strategy makes cheating by creating a second profile much more appealing...

Inappropriate?I understand the intention of creating a new level to generate a novelty factor and new goals to the game. The problem is that the approach you are using invalidates all the effort put into the game. Maybe if it was something established from the beginning it would be more acceptable, but changing the rules of the game at this point seems really unfair.
Every player that reached level 40 is a dedicated one, and invested a lot of time into increasing their stats, and generating money. To trade all of that (specially the money) for only some boost in combat is not very compelling, don't you think?

No, this was indeed not some "quick fix" as you would think it was. The developers (two 1/2 people mind you) have spent countless hours grilling over this game to keep people happy and keep people playing.
Now if you're still unsatisfied and aren't finding it fun, perhaps you need to team up with some other people and do some assassinations or start some fires somewhere and make someone mad and actually try to enjoy the game.
by the way, if you're still doing tasks at level 33...well you might want to re-think that -

Inappropriate?looks to be a very small boost, fos is elite1 and when he attacked back he showed 56% chance not 53% so 3% boost? maybe 5%? i could have spent 20k more in attack / defense and kicked his butt...

I'd have to disagree with you hear for one BIG reason. The weapons you have access to at level 20 are far superior to the weapons I have access at level 11. If you're going to compare, them compare apples to apples. Compare 2 level 20's. Because given that we are the same level with the same weapons available I could drop that 20K and possibly end up having you for breakfast. You say levels don't matter but they do, and its because of access to better weapons and better defensive items.
Remember yeah your bigger weapons cost more but they also do more defensively and offensively Would you rather have to buy 10 things at +50 or two things at +350? It's the same 20K but for your 20K your weapons do more damage. -

The obvious conclusion is that elite is just the first in an unlimited amount of new categories to get to everytime you get to 40. Maybe the next round called "uber" will give a 6% chance.
As far as I'm concerned that doesnt sound very fun at all... -

Inappropriate?I'm just pissed that you lose everything when you go Elite. You go to level 1 with $0, 0 weapons (1 attack point), 0 defense mechanisms (1 defense point). Had I known that you lost it all, I would have laundered my cash before taking the badge.

Inappropriate?So basically the "Smart Elites" put all their money into cash and had level 40 friends attack them so they could transfer it fast.
They are now leveling up again and once they get high enough they will simply do the reverse and win it back.
Nice cheat.

Inappropriate?Just to set the record straight since my analysis above was missing a very big component and i hadn't gone elite at the time of the of this thread.
ELITE 1 gives you 2x the attack points per item so a WA 2000 Sniper Rifle is +700 not just 350 like a non elite.
so a Elite5 you get 6X the attack and that's 2100 for the same price.
I don't understand why no one has posted this FACT here and said i was wrong above!!! it's misinformation and lack of facts that keeps some of the less avid players with lower stats.
My attack is now over 4 million thanks to being Elite5 Push that pretty button NOW!!! -
