Got banned on twitter because of Spymaster.

Twitter support have closed my support ticket twice now, and arnt willing to give me a reason other than Spamming.

Have you managed to get through to them?
Ive emailed them and taken up 2 support tickets and no luck.

Twitter support is rubbish... For the 3rd time my support request has been solved... when i didnt even get an answer this time.

Thanks for trying brntbeer, but im gonna have to leave this game. Not becuase of you but because of twitter.

Support (Demerick) has told me im abusing their support system by reopening the support tickets. She even made the effort to email me because my ips been banned.

I changed my dynamic ip, renewed it from the router. And i was back on zendesk.

Just a note its probaly a good idea to advice people when they sign up to use a private spymaster account. I used a previous website account that was building 40+ followers a day and ive lost it.

I Have a similar situation and all both my support request questions to twitter were closed without ceremony. Can I link my spymaster ac to a different twitter account?

Tried it - Internal Server Error upon redirection back to spymaster.

Thought i finally manged to get back my old account, changed my suspended accouts username. made a new twitter and used the username. but that didnt work :( new spy menu.

Now my main account, varuka, has been suspended. Can't get any response from twitter. Now I have lost contact with my friends, and can't play spymaster. To say I'm upset would be an understatement. I wish I'd never heard of spymaster at this point. I've had my twitter account for over a year, and now I'm cut off. Extremely angry.

I think that iList needs to clean up its act on the twitter spam completely.

If I was the twitter people I would ban large numbers of Spymaster accounts for sending the notifications until iList stop abusing their service.

I have all notifications turned off and that is the way it is going to stay. My twitter followers do not want to be told every time I click a new button in Spymaster. Going from L1 to L40 with default notifications means something like 200 tweets. If you follow ten or twenty people playing SM your twitter feed is ruined.

I started a separate account to escape from the spam sent by others.

Cut down the twitter spam to no more than one message per player per day.

The 140 blood people are even worse though. They were sending spam about me playing when I wasn't. All I did was to log in and find that there were four separate themes on the same game to play and gave up.

Still haven't heard a peep out of twitter or iList. Pissed.

iList cant get back your twitter but your best chance is to contact "support@twitter.com". I got a reply from this email but never got reinstated.

I finally got my account back. It wasn't because of the notifications that I got banned, it was because of using refollow.com to increase my followers. I was actually banned when I unfollowed all the people that were not following me back. If you want to get your account back, contact @ginger . She works for Twitter, and unblocked my Spymaster account as well as my personal account.

Since I can't increase my spyring with any speed without getting banned, I don't see the point in playing anymore. How am I supposed to be able to compete fairly when companies that have over a million followers, I'm looking at you zappos, when I am just one person? There is no way for me to win, ever. Why play?

Zappos - doesnt play the game anymore. he/she has been dead for at least a month.

You can use refollow, just dont unfollow people in bulk.
I follow people in mass without problems, it just seems to be unfollowing thats a problem.

@iList - Im seeing 10+ accounts unfollowing me everyday! And i go to check if im following them and their accounts are banned...

e.g

icantseeyou unfollowed you and left your spy ring.

magillamax unfollowed you and left your spy ring.

Both banned, last few minutes.

Im not sure if this is because of spymaster but im seeing tons of accounts like this unfollowing me all of a sudden because of the ban.

I gave them over 5 paragraphs of information... i give up with my old account.

DONT be so aggressive unfollowing and refollowing that is why people are getting ban.

icantseeyou is back now and so is bloggy and a few others that got ban, dont unfollow more than like 10% of your total followers and wait 24hrs to follow new people!!!

WAIT A WEEK or more to give people a chance to follow you back!!!

The intial problem i had was because of spymaster.

Twitter support have even said that my tweets from spymaster + people blocking me got me banned. So the thread name is still relevant to what the problem was.

yep.... my first twitter account got banned a few months ago because i unfollowed a ton of people, and then i started following new people in mass right away, which apparently caused a red flag..... i still mass un-follow with my new account, but i simply wait a week afterwards before following new people.. hope this helps
