how to report combined attacks from alts of a single player ?
I've been attacked and killed several times by alts of the same player ( most of SM's players can recognize who can be that player ). Since I know that I'm not the only one in that case, and that using alts to combine attacks is againt the TOS, I am wondering how to report this problem.
The question is rather this one : Will there be any sanction taken against that person , at last ?

Inappropriate?Im not sure if there currently banning accounts for attacking the same targets.
The TOS might say its against the rules but most players have alts and do use them for this purpose. -

I'm asking because if you wanted to, you could get out of the back to back thing by say having Person 1s alt attack, then Person 2s alt, then back to 1, etc etc which also doesnt seem too fair!
Also, Le Vag asked how to report it, and you havent provided a way to do this yet!

back to back would constitute attacking the same person like you just said. no two alts should be attacking the same person.
Also keep in mind that the amount of time to investigate every single person's random concern about someone attacking with multiple alts is incredibly time intensive but i will look into it regardless -
Inappropriate?Well if you suffer from the delusion that everyone in the game who isn't you is either Ucana or Qua and that Ucana is probably Qua, then you are going to think that every combined attack by the same cell comes from the same player.
[ed- Ucana is in fact a giant hedgehog called Spiny Norman.]
Given le vagabond's stats, there are only a few players in the game who can hit him at all. And of those who can, most only have a single powerhouse account at that level. So I would think it rather unlikely someone would have four accounts, all with higher stats than le vagabond that they use for killing him on their own.
Much easier to log into tinychat and ask for some help. Or place a bounty and wait till some other folk have softened him up.

Since those attacks have not ceased, I publish a screen shot of the last one.
@dkr have promised that sanctions would be taken against those who have exploited the glitch and broke the game Maybe it's time to take action , at last.

Inappropriate?The simple way to stop this problem would be to implement EOS on the basis of IP address. So the third hit from the same IP address gets EOS even if it is a different account.
It would hit some people who play together in the same room. But it would be worth the minor inconvenience.

Well that wont work im affraid. What about two people playing from the same adress ? That would mean just one of us can play. Im totaly agreed on the alt thing, happend to me to on a regular basis but with this sollution there cant be 2 people playing from the same adress anymore.

Besides it would be quite easy to pass by using proxy, infact if they would do that I would be able to hit somebody 7 times with the same account.
I'll give you 2 hits without proxy, then start proxy give you 2 again, switch proxy and 2 again, switch proxy and your dead.
Then there is also a rumour where one person has over 20 alts, they say he gave other players the password to his alts. If that is true, one of these alts could easily be played by 5 players with different ip's.
My point is, its only making it easier for the cheaters to cheat.
Then there is also the point spybien is making.
My wife and me are both playing SM, we are in the same cell, so we also encounter the same foe a lot.
We are 2 different player (and luckely Brent can confirm this as he saw us both on cam) so we are not doing anything against the TOS.
You see its easy to call a solution, but there is allways a huge BUT.
This is the problem Irata has to cope with, give them some slack, and let them just use their methodes to find the cheaters and deal with them.
Its our task to supply them with the evidence. -
We've considered IP throttling before but like Blogspy said, it's not practical. Those set on cheating will just use proxies (or even just reset their router and likely get a new dynamic IP), whereas it could hurt our legitimate players (multiple people playing in an office or at home is one example).

Multiplayer accounts like all the keysersoze's, Irata needs to put a stop to the multiplayer accounts fast.
Its a new type of expoiding the game, I know players in Puma hate it when we mension their clan name while we make complains about Ucana's actions.
But in this case, it is a Puma thing, multiple players in Puma are working these accounts.

I didn't deny there were multiplayer accounts. No one in Puma has ever denied there were multiplayer accounts. Unlike you Blog, we pretty much own up to what we do. However, it's ridiculous the way you go after Qua and Ucana for multiple accounts when you have your own. FailWhale ring a bell with you? It should. And if multiplayer accounts is exploiting the game, how is a single player owning multiple accounts any different?
Or are you attempting to figure out just how bad of a glitch having multiple accounts are? Were you planning on posting a long heartfelt list, detailing to Irata how long you've been playing multiple accounts. And then apoligize, saying you only did it out of curiousity? -

Yes I have multiple accounts, actually I have 3 accounts, where one is created quite recent, and I created it to be an information source for my cell members.
Faillwhale doesnt do much action, he's dead most of the time, and still I'm not doing anything against the TOS with it, I made a mistake with it once or twice, and clearified it to Brent, play it different now so it wont happen again.
I dont care at all about Ucana and Qua's alts, only gives me more targets to hit, so thats ok by me.
As long as they keep playing by the TOS, I wont mind at all even if they have 27 accounts (allthough thats against the TOS too, if you read the TOS correctly)
Now dear Sistersafetypin, yes Failwhale is my alt (1 of the 2), So whats your point?
And do I really need to explain the difference between 20 playing 1 account or 1 person playing 20 accounts?
You really need explenation how thats cheating the game?

Blogspy, you need to come clean on all your history of accounts and merging and playing this game. You are truly lying to yourself and everyone by saying "look, I'm clean now" and never fessing up to everything you deem wrong now that you have done playing the game. Very hypocritical in my book. Just an observation.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem when I resurrected from death... this character "TwitAddictRyan" now iRyan_ keeps on putitng bounties on me in small amounts of 3.2M~4.5M . Everytime I go online and once I died, he will put up another bounty..
I thought SM is a game not by chance but a fair one...how can someone enjoy and play the game in this manner... "childish" but annoying if you are in my case..
Also, he intimidates my cell members ...sending welcome message of threat to them...

And bounties are perfectly legal in this game, and just 15 minutes ago you placed a bounty on me. I have people bounty me over and over every day! if you can not deal with the game, grow your spyring and get stronger, level up, but PLEASE do not whine or complain! Also sm IS a game of chance, even players with the highest stats will not succeed 100% of the time, even when not past the EOS!
Now, moving forward to the other part of your post! How am i threatening your cell members? "new to pUtR3SkA? allow me to introduce myself. bham bam! lol ah! ~ iRyan" i do not see that as threatening! If it is (Directorate, please let me know) threatening i will remove it, but also keep in mind, i am not the only one who leaves messages on peoples dossiers. Maybe it is your inexperience in the game, but alot of SM leave messages to provoke others or just make the game more interesting and fun!
Also if you had/have a problem with the way i play the game, why not come to me? you have been to every other cell trying to get help, yet the issues you have were not brought to my attention! When i had a problem with you or your team i brought it to your attention. The way you handled the issue was your decision and the way i decided to handle it was/is mine!
You can say I am childish, but that does not bother me at all, because in all actuality sometimes i can be. But that also says a lot about your character. I am a 19y/o who came to you respectfully and diplomatically about my problems.
By no means am i trying to be a jerk/a*swhole or anything else, but for every action there is a consequence

Good ! Now that I got your attention... just wondering the first one is TwitAddictRyan who does the same style and same dossier as you. I hope am mistaken that your iRyan_ is different form TwitAddictRyan who by the way is no longer in existent in SpyMaster's Dossier. Next i notice, all my cell members had your "little welcome comment". is that normal to just leave some bug notes specifically, intentionally or not.. the same notes to all 12 of them? I wonder.
Now, also.. isn't it odd to think or say.. after 15 minutes of death, the moment I resurrect, you IMMEDIATELY post bounty amounting to 3.@M till 4.9M isn't that coincidentally in 1/2 day..almost 8x you post bounty on me.
Well for me Ryan, i don't think that's norm to play in SpyMaster .. to place bounty immediately after resurrection of 15 minutes unless.. something is bothering you about me which I think none as you can see I NEVER REACTED in any of your attempts or misleading writeups on notifications PER DOSSIER of my cell members.. even though some, like me, don't percieve it offending, but to others, the friends in my twitter says that's too much for every cell member to recieve your "global message'.
Third thing, after 15 minutes of resurrection , you immediately post bounty on me.. which i said kinda childish for a 19 year old guy like you, even if its a game.. as i said, to others they don't think as I do. If you can read and understand my dossier or even ask my cell members about the cell information.. no item or topic or description was against you.

Inappropriate?Wrong again, twitaddictryan and iryan_ are one in the same! twitaddictryan was my username on twitter for the last month or so. iryan_ is what i changed it to. I change my twitter name almost everymonth. (prior to twitaddictryan it was ryantheking, kingryan1990, etc) .. is it wrong that i get bored with using the same name?
As for the bounty you are also wrong.
* i am not the only one placing a bounty on you
* when i place the bounties on you they are 120k and the directorate takes 10% which decreases it
* the limit is 3.6M per day so there is no way ive been placing 3M bounties on you all day
Also that is very normal to place bounties like that, especially if you have a "nemesis" .. just yesterday me/duckie067/gunchick357/mztaey and others got into a bounty war.. placing bounties the whole day, back to back! (until we reached the limit i just told you about above)
The comments on your dossier are not against the rules, and i have left one message on 6/11 of your cell (non threatening messages). Also if your cell was offended they can come to me as well!
I understand that you have not mentioned me directly to your cell, that is very kind of you! but indirect mentions are another story.
Also when you first started playing i was one of the first players to start following/talking to you! Do you not remember? (maybe its because you delete all your messages)
Lets make one thing clear as well! When i DM'd you, that was not an ego trip, that was for your benefit!

I think this exchange of emails is futile at this point since both you and i are claiming either just to "piss off' the other or so which I never and HAD any intentions ever since, since you stated "I understand that you have not mentioned me directly to your cell, that is very kind of you! but indirect mentions are another story." Also I would rather take the responsibility of seeing the situation as offending since am the cell owner and not them, they don't react to you directly and why should they, since I already told them not to, such childish for them to come to you, which I ask why should they in the first place making you so important? Anyway...
For the bounty you always place immediately after the reward or bounty has been taken.. (after 15 mins.) is evidently strong coz am online when i see that you placed immediately that bounty.
As I said, this would be unending accusations and defense, I wont benefit form such ordeal of useless explanation here since as you "perfectly " know the rules including changing of characters and alts.
About the DM you placed BEFORE I un-followed you on twitter.. you're not the only one that was deleted.. I cleaned my Twitter which I think is my right to do so and by rules of Twitter. So I started new list of followers and I followed too. Reason I stated to all my followers, that I have to un-followed you... etc. which i am sure and hope you already read such notice sent by me to all my old followers.
Point taken from your DM , and maybe its beneficial or not. But leaving notes to my cell members, which I don't do to your members, words from you like .. "I have your member already.." is not my concern since I wont benefit in any form regardless you get a member or two form me since all players "shifts cell" in one point or another..you cannot "own" them so to speak. Cell loyalty is not my concern too.. they can leave and join my cell anytime, I don't force people to join or beg them to join my cell.

cells and spymasters post lots of stuff on peoples profiles. sometimes the zone attacks a cell for a weekend of more and keeps everyone dead. it's not uncommon for a player to be killed 5 times in one hour.
maybe the zone or myself should spank tuundercats LOL, RYAN your a good player and i know you would take it in stride.

I have not bountied you since early yesterday morning. It is your decision to unfollow/follow whoever you want, that was not the problem. Even your cell attacking me was not the problem. It was how you responded to the DMs which were meant to help you and your cell! The reasons i sent you the DMs were to try to help you and your cell out! How you responded to the DMs were your choice and how i chose to respond was mine. You are right in saying this is not going to help us resolve the issue (going back and forth) because we both have our own opinions/perceptions. I will try to make this my last post on the matter, but If you want to discuss anything else with me DM me (jk LOL)
