Performing Tasks

So here is the use case:

I have 0 Energy. I try to perform a task but receive the message saying I need to wait until I receive more energy.

When I finally do receive more energy, I try to perform the task again without refreshing the page traditionally, I still receive the same message saying I need more energy even when I have sufficient energy to perform the task.

I find this a problem in usability.
